This Creative Commons framework is used in multiple international schools to support a whole-school approach to SEL and transform advisory programs to outcomes-based curriculum offering a guaranteed and viable learning experiences for students school-wide around these critical skills.

Focusing on the Why for your school, we design a system and a data-driven process to incorporate the voice of your community and leave you with a plan that is implementable with 3-5 action plans in place to guide your community.

These are two different systems. One for the majority of our teachers and one for very few people in our organization. We advocate for a standard-based approach that develops core language for teaching and learning at your school. We focus on student surveys, articulating a Teaching and Learning Framework and creating a system that leverages peers and administration.

Teachers need to know what is expected of them in clear and actionable ways so that they can reflect, receive feedback, and set goals. With out a Teaching and Learning Framework or standards, what are our Growth and Evaluation Models based on? This is core and important work for schools to consider and a point of advocacy for us at VSI. We need Teaching and Learning Frameworks.
